What are waffles? 

Waffles are leavened batter or dough cooked between two hot plates of a waffle iron, patterned to give a characteristic size, shape, and grid-like surface impression.


What are the ingredients? 

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon salt

- 4 teaspoons baking powder

- 2 tablespoons white sugar

- 2 eggs

- 1 ½ cups warm milk

- ⅓ cup butter, melted

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


How do you make it?

Step 1: Gather all ingredients

Step 2: In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar; set aside. Preheat waffle iron to desired temperature.

Step 3: In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Stir in the milk, butter and vanilla

Step 4: Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture; beat until blended.

Step 5: Ladle the batter into a preheated waffle iron.

Step 6: Cook the waffles until golden and crisp. 

Step 7: Serve immediately and enjoy!


And there you go! Your waffles are ready to be served, waffles are usually served with fruits, maple syrup, chocolate, and ice cream.
